Clinical Pathology

At Griffith Vet Hospital, we are fully equipped with an in-house pathology laboratory to allow our vet team to quickly assess your pet’s blood and urine for an accurate insight into their internal organ and body function.

Some specialised testing may need to be sent to an external laboratory and may take longer to get results. Speak to our Vets to understand what tests are being performed and to discuss the results for a better understanding of your pet’s treatment plan. Common laboratory tests include blood chemistries, complete blood counts, blood clotting times, urinalysis, faecal tests, biopsy examination, cultures and infectious disease testing.
