Hi! I’m known as Sammy M. I have recently joined the wonderful and compassionate team here at the Griffith Veterinary Hospital, after returning to Veterinary Nursing after a long break. I love all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, as every day is so different to the next.
I have completed my certificates in Animal Attending, Enrolled Veterinary Nursing and Advanced Veterinary Nursing and have also completed a Wires Course quite a few years ago! I have worked in all types of clinics, small and large, around Sydney. I have been involved in the nursing of cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, horses, cows, goats, sheep, birds, frogs, lizards, snakes, possums, kangaroos & even the odd penguin! There are also many other endangered and rare wildlife that I have had the absolute pleasure of learning about and working with.
My fur-babies that have all been rescues are; Paddy (Golden Retriever), Banjo (Kelpie x German Shepherd), Poppy (Russian Blue x), Oscar (Russian Blue x), plus my tropical fish.
Seeing our patients and owners reunited after recovery under our treatment is just priceless, and is the best part of my day!
