Attention Cat/Kitten Owners.

From 1 July 2020 owners of cats not desexed by four months of age will be required to pay an $80 annual permit in addition to their one-off lifetime pet registration fee.

Due to this change in legislation, Griffith Veterinary Hospital will be offering desexing to kittens, providing they are over 1kg in weight and fit and healthy to withstand surgery. By offering desexing at a younger age, owners can book their kittens in for desexing prior to 4 months of age to take advantage of not needing to pay for an annual permit.
