Poor Bubbles!

Bubbles was intrigued by her owner's fishing equipment, and after investigating the fish hook accidentally got it stuck in her mouth! Due to the fish hook's barbed design, Bubbles was unable to free herself and required veterinary intervention. Although seemingly simple, the procedure requires a skilled hand. It is important that the fish hook isn't forced out in reverse, and rather is pushed all the way through to prevent further damage.
Bubbles was sedated to keep her calm and ease the pain of the procedure. She was incredibly brave throughout the entire removal process, and recovered well from the anesthesia. Bubbles is now back home with her relieved family, and will surely be a lot more careful around her owner's equipment from now on.
