Veterinarian

Hello, I’m Dr Mahdi. I graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Azad University Veterinary Uni of Tabriz, Iran, in 2005. After completing my degree, I worked in a government veterinary role where I was involved in the control and development of veterinary sterile vaccines, alongside running my own private veterinary practice.

In 2022, my family and I moved to Australia to continue my veterinary journey. I successfully completed the Australian Veterinary Examination (AVE) and commenced work with Australian Veterinary Hospitals in September 2025. I am grateful to be part of a responsible, friendly, and supportive team here at Griffith that feels very much like family.

My professional interests include immunology, providing proactive preventatives, as well as small‑animal surgery, where I enjoy the precision and problem‑solving involved in helping animals return to health. I value evidence‑based medicine and take pride in providing compassionate, thorough care to every patient with minimum cost.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My wife has been incredibly supportive throughout my veterinary journey, and our two children bring joy and balance to my life. Family activities and cooking are a big part of who I am and keep me motivated every day.
