In Loving Memory of Calli, Our Beloved Clinic Cat

Clinic Cat & Front Office Manager (Diploma of Purrfect Cat)
Calli Girl

It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to our dear clinic cat, Calli. Our 13-year-old Bengal, recently diagnosed with cancer, fought bravely, but as the disease spread rapidly, we knew it was time to let her go and spare her further suffering.

Calli was more than just a cat; she was a loud, loving presence in our clinic for many years. With her signature vocal enthusiasm, she greeted everyone—staff, clients, patients, and her furry friends alike. A true character, Calli had many quirks that made her unforgettable. Her favorite pastimes included stealing food, napping in her luxurious four-poster bed, demanding yet another serving of food, rolling on her sensory mat, and making daring escapes from the clinic (much to our dismay).

She was notoriously selective about cuddles, accepting them only on her own terms, and insisted on bedtime whenever she deemed it necessary. Her dramatic meows often had clients thinking she was in distress when, in reality, she was simply being Calli. A lover of BBQ chicken, she could always be found eagerly awaiting treats from Kylie, our coffee lady, during every visit.

In her final moments, Calli was surrounded by love, cuddled, kissed, and held in the arms of those who cared for her. As we reflected on her legendary antics, we laughed, cried, and cherished the memories we shared. Calli's farewell was witnessed through video calls, bringing together both old and new staff to be with her in her final moments.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Calli’s spirit and the joy she brought will forever remain a part of our clinic family.
